antediluvian: vecchi pensieri
First Impression:[1/5] - The title is in a language I'm unfamiliar with... Not sure what it means, nor if it is a name, or place or slogan. It is a little frustrating... Would like to have understood.... And the photo doesn't help me much in understanding the layout and design.
Navigation:[6/10] - Links on the diary's floor. Different. I like it. "Ante" for previous and "post" for next... maybe it's Latin? I'm not familiar with Latin either. Aside from the normal everyday links that navi a diary you will find that this diary has 3 other links explained in extras . Overall: Good Navigation!
Content:[25/25] - A very distinctive writing style. Almost like a story with beginning and the end chopped off of each entry. Though wherever you start reading, whether in the middle of an entry (creatively subtitled) or middle of the archive, you are bound to be sucked into the author’s world somehow, you’re either questioning it or celebrating it. It bites you when you start reading, and then takes you by surprise. But after reading a good handful of (5-6) entries you'll definitely grasp her style and read for a while more... I really like reading you're diary. I can't find anything wrong with your style. It is different and definitely worth reading. Kind of like a greatly written novel. BRAVO!!
Layout:[10/20] - A bit frustrated with the photo and title of the design. The picture wasn't really self explanatory either. Oops. Wasn't quite getting the (o)pinion typing... which appears in some titles of entries too.... Would have liked to see the version four as the layout of choice. But kudos for home made goodness! And the links at the bottom was original and different. Nice going!
Contact:[3/10] - Don't see any contact info or links anywhere, but that could be for privacy issues and personal preferences.. So I will keep that in mind while reading and scoring.
Extras:[3.5/5] - 3 additional links... (1a.) story: her explanation of her diary and (1b.)Design history and explanations... not too descriptive... hmmmm. I notice the latest layout isn't being used. I like it more than the current layout. Suppose you didn't set it as default? ... And just as an aside, the fourth version would have racked up more first impression and navi points... but it isn't the current layout... so I have to do what I have to do... (2.) Folks - self explanatory, really, author just gives a little something about the people in her life. Very interesting. (3.) Links - starting to be a necessity in a journal now... Yes, a random collection of links.
Updates:[4/5] - Several times a week. Nice consistent approach. Way to go.
Our Link: [10/10] - Great. Girl Review is there and not broken .. like all the other links.. Bravo.
Errors:[5/5] - None really, occasionally the typical typo but nothing major or unpredictable... Other than the mixed up layout.... Good Going! XD
Will I come back?[5/5] - Most likely not .. Not that I wouldn't want to!!! Just that I'm not able to. =-( I would if I could, mate!
Creativity Bonus [9.5/10] - Wow... you have a very different and narrative writing style. =-P Nice home made layouts. Ching ching!! I'd like to see you set the latest and greatest as the default! *wink*
Total:[82/100]
Comments? - Favorite Qoutes = "He is oblique Frenchman I shall call Hitler." ~ Now, if that's not screaming "i'm racism's worst enemy, humor!" then I'm a super model. = " Comment vas tu? Yes you! I am speaking at you. Halte die Türen zu. Yabba dabba doo!" ~ All I said to myself was a laughter filled "What?!?!" XD = "Of course it's no where as hygienic as HHB and have a significant population of flies and mosquitoes. But who cares?" ~ Uh, you're addicted to food... this is now a very scary thing....=X "No one knows for sure the exact day I was born. No one knows for sure the exact year I was born. Hence, the best bet was for me to be born somewhere in the late 70s." ~ Damn, girl. Happy birthday! You're a trooper. Good writer. Good woman. Yaahoo!
So, You write a diary... and that's basically what you are doing... Oddly enough in a very novel-like way, but it's very catchy and very vibrant! I love the way you write. So, you don't have a "site" quality about you're place... That's fine.... Don't let what one person thinks is great, stop you. ~ Words of wisdom from Roe...
Way to go!! =-P
And I have figured your French, not Latin. Please don't hurt me! *cowers in the corner*
